1) Timing and varieties of vegetables may vary depending on weather and other factors (for example, in 2009 we lost all of our tomatoes to late blight, as did the other farmers in this area who did not spray fungicides).
2) There may be other price changes due to variety growing differences (for example, the price for the Asian eggplant Orient Express will likely be more than the traditional eggplant).
